OpenGiving rewards your generosity and engagement with badges and achievements. These recognize your contributions to the community.
Badge System
Badges appear on your profile and show your level of involvement on the platform.
Donor Badges

How Badges Work
Earning Badges
Badges are awarded automatically when you:
- Complete the required action
- Meet the threshold
- No manual claiming needed
Badge Display
Badges appear:
- On your profile page
- Next to your name in comments
- In campaign donor lists
You can choose which badges to display prominently in your profile settings.
Badge Levels
Some badges have levels (Bronze, Silver, Gold):
- Bronze: Starting tier
- Silver: Intermediate achievement
- Gold: Maximum achievement
Streaks
Maintain activity streaks for bonus recognition:
Donation Streak
Donate monthly to keep your streak going:
- 3 months: Streak badge
- 6 months: Super Streak badge
- 12 months: Legendary Streak badge
Engagement Streak
Log in and engage weekly:
- Visit campaigns
- Share content
- Leave comments
Leaderboards
See how you compare:
- Top donors (monthly/all-time)
- Top sellers
- Most active supporters
