A

Active Campaign

A campaign that is currently live and accepting donations.

Admin Dashboard

The staff-only interface for managing the OpenGiving platform.

Anonymous Donation

A donation where the donor chooses to hide their identity from the public and/or campaign creator.

Badge

A visual indicator on a user's profile showing achievements or status (e.g., "Verified," "Top Donor").

Beneficiary

The person or organization that will receive the funds raised by a campaign.

Campaign

A fundraising effort created on OpenGiving with a specific goal and purpose.

Campaign Creator

The user who creates and manages a fundraising campaign.

Category

The classification of a campaign (e.g., Medical, Education, Emergency, Community).

Conversion Rate

The percentage of visitors who complete a desired action (e.g., donating after viewing a campaign).

Disbursement

The process of transferring raised funds from OpenGiving to the campaign creator's bank account.

Dispute

A formal complaint raised by a buyer when there's a problem with a marketplace transaction.

Donation

A monetary contribution made to a campaign.

Donor

A person who makes a donation to a campaign.

Escalation
